Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH is proud to have once again served as a sponsor of Japantag Düsseldorf/NRW, one of the largest festivals of Japanese culture in Europe.

Held on May 24, 2025, the event attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from across Germany and beyond to celebrate the rich traditions and contemporary culture of Japan.

As a company with deep roots in Japan and a long-standing presence in Düsseldorf, our support for this cultural event reflects not only our heritage but also our commitment to international exchange, diversity, and community engagement.

This year marked the 22nd edition of Japantag, featuring live performances, martial arts, culinary experiences, traditional crafts, pop culture, and the ever-popular Japanese fireworks display over the Rhine.

Mitsui Chemicals Europe, headquartered in Düsseldorf, plays an integral role in the region through both its European business operations and its ongoing contributions to intercultural initiatives. Our recently expanded Technical Solutions Center is just one example of our investment in the local economy and talent development.
