Made from plant-derived materials, this lens is designed to create a smaller carbon footprint than conventional petroleum-derived products.

According to LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), MR-174™ reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 14 % compared to conventional products based on petroleum-derived materials. MR-160DG™ is under evaluation.*1
It is certified as a biomass product by JORA in Japan and USDA (MR-160DG™ is currently under application) in the United States.*2*3
