Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH donated several thousand euros to children's hospice

Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH planned to have a Christmas party on December 4. After it was clear that the Christmas party could not take place because of the coronavirus, MCE´s management (pictured is MCE´s President & CEO, Mr. Takeshi Hiraiwa) decided to donate a part of the budgeted amount for the Christmas party for a good cause.

On December 4,  Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH (MCE) handed over a check of several thousand euros to the “Regenbogenland” children's hospice.

MCE decided to donate money to Regebogenland because this hospice is based in Düsseldorf like MCE and is largely financed by donations, so that the hospice is depending on support. At Regenbogenland Düsseldorf, children, adolescents and young adults spend the last phase of their lives due to life-shortening illnesses. Especially during the Corona pandemic, restrictions make it even more important to spread joy of life and enjoy the remaining time.

The donation was very well perceived by all MCE employees who were happy to do something good together this year.
